From October 23 to November 9, residents and visitors to Sydney can feast their eyes on the spectacular Sculpture by the Sea 2014, Australia's largest annual outdoor sculpture exhibition. Stretching 2 kilometers across the Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach coastal walk, the temporary sculptural park features over 100 sculptures by artists from across the world.
Now in its 18th year at Bondi, the free public event is bigger and better than ever. Against the background of sandy shores and the gorgeous ocean, visitors can admire fantastic works that include a giant frying pan, a magnificent wire peacock, and an interactive arch that counts the number of people who walk under it.
In addition to the Bondi exhibition, originally started in 1996, the annual Sculpture by the Sea event will also be held in Perth, Australia and Aarhus, Denmark in 2015.
