Winner Of The Title Miss Earth 2012

The 12th annual Miss Earth 2012 pageant held in Manilla, Philippines came to a close with Miss Czech Republic Tereza Fajksova as Miss Earth 2012, Miss Philippines Stephany Stefanowitz as Miss Earth Air , Miss Venezuela Osmariel Villalobos as Miss Earth Water and Miss Brazil Camila Brant as Miss Earth Fire. Over the month long event, 80 delegates have strived hard to achieve the Miss Earth crown, there were many favourites including Miss Prachi Mishra who represented India and had bagged the Friendship subtitle at Miss Earth 2012. The evening got an awesome start with Billy Crawford's breathtaking performance and a spectacular evening gown competition by the 8 finalists.

• Earlier before the coronation night, special awards were announced to the following countries for being exemplary in those categories:

• Online Miss Photogenic - Miss Venezuela placed 1st with 25,667 votes (Gold), Miss Thailand got 22,326 votes (Silver) and Miss Costa Rica earned 18,817 votes (Bronze).

• National costume competition - Miss Thailand won the Gold medal, while Misses South Africa and Malaysia bagged the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

• Evening gown competition ( Group 3)- Bronze to Miss Norway, silver to Miss Thailand and Gold to Miss Guatemala! 

Top 4 finalists were ( in random order)

• Brazil

• Venezuela

• Philippines

• Czech Republic

During the question answer round, where they were asked 'what would you consider as your defining moment as a woman,' all the 4 finalists gave their answers with great poise and elegance. Miss Philippines answered, "Philippines is about being a woman of the Earth and to fight to conserve and preserve the environment. She is for renewable energy."

While Miss Venezuela kept it short, she said, "Venezuela is about working hard, reaching her goals, fulfilling her responsibilities."

Though, everyone gave her best, finally Miss Czech Republic bagged the title of Miss Earth 2012 , Miss Earth Air is Miss Philippines, Miss Earth Water is Miss Venezuela and Miss Earth Fire is Miss Brazil.
