Gluten Free Museum is a Tumblr blog with a sense of humor that's giving acclaimed artwork a dietary makeover, revealing just how many pieces are full of gluten. By removing wheat, barley, and rye from Salvador Dalí, Ridley Scott, Pieter Brueghel, and many other creatives' portfolios, an entirely different perspective is shown. A gluten-free painting sounds like a silly concept that clearly pokes fun at the growing number of gluten-free products on the market, but the final product shows a drastically different world. Suddenly, harvesters have nothing to harvest. Fields of golden wheat become lush with greenery as the blue sky stands out in the distance. There's an overall decrease in details. What may have started as a joke has turned into quite an interesting project that examines the presence of wheat products in art.
