Floating Rental House Offers a Stay Like No Other on Australia's Great Barrier Reef

Airbnb is back at it again with another amazing rental opportunity. Within the last six months, they’ve made it possible to sleep among sharks and live in a famous Van Gogh painting. Now, they’re taking fun in the sun to a whole new level with a gorgeous floating home on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
The sunny pontoon apartment features two bedrooms and one bathroom that’s complete with a lounge area to admire the gorgeous views. It lacks any walls, so guests fall asleep to lapping waves and wake as the sun begins to rise over the ocean.
The most compelling part of the entire rental is its surrounding “neighborhood” that’s home to an incredible variety of sea life—this includes 600 types of soft and hard corals; 100 species of jellyfish; 3,000 varieties of mollusks; 1,625 types of fish; and 133 species of sharks and rays. In addition, there are more than 30 varieties of whales and dolphins swimming in the crystal clear waters.
This experience is part of Airbnb’s special Night At events. They’ve partnered with Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory to make the tropical vacation possible for one lucky family or group of four. Guests will be treated to a meal by Australian chef Neil Perry, and they’ll later dive into the ocean and witness its stunning underwater life, touring the private coral gardens with a marine biologist.
The unforgettable trip takes place on July 13 to July 14, 2016. You can enter for your chance to win through Airbnb.
