Water Mystically Flows from the Peak of this Lush Patagonia Lodge

If you’re a fan of fantasy, especially Lord of the Rings, then the Magic Mountain Lodge is the perfect destination for you. It’s a 13-room hotel that looks like it could be from Middle-earth! Located in the private Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve in northern Chile, this lodge has its visitors enter via a suspended rope bridge as a cascade of water flows from the structure's peak.
The gorgeous locale sits on a diverse forest region in northern Patagonia, and it’s the base camp for ecotourists who want to observe the wildlife or explore nearby waterfalls. The luscious exterior features dormer windows nestled within its vegetation and stone facade. There’s also a fountain that pours water over the roof and drenches the plants and those passing by. This playful element evokes an ancient legend about a local magic mountain that grants wishes.
Once you’re done exploring the area, you can take advantage of hotel's cozy bar, restaurant, and sauna, in addition to outdoor hot tubs made from hollow tree stumps. This mystical lodge, with its exquisite natural beauty, makes us want to pack our bags!
