"Coincidence Project" Reveals Perfectly Timed and Serendipitously Aligned Photos of the World

Photographer Denis Cherim's Coincidence Project captures moments of harmonious alignment between separate scenic elements, portrayed from particular perspectives. His images incorporate street settings, natural landscapes, and occasional human subjects, manipulating shadows and slants to interlock varied components in visually satisfying puzzles.
To browse the photos is to imagine Cherim's process. You can almost envision him meandering with eyes wide open and camera in hand, scanning his surroundings for subtle shapes and lines, and then crouching, tilting, or tiptoeing to position the perfect angles. Whether intentionally or not, his work implores viewers to be more attentive to the artistry in everyday environments—serendipity is everywhere, it seems, if we train ourselves to search for it as Cherim has.
