Incredible 360° Aerial Panoramas of Cities Around the World

What if you could travel the world from the comfort of your own home? AirPano, a non-commercial project devoted to taking high-resolution aerial panoramas, lets you do just that with their extensive photo gallery of beautiful locations around the world. With a dedicated team of Russian photo enthusiasts, AirPano travels all over the globe, photographing from helicopters, airplanes, dirigibles, and hot air balloons in order to capture aerial panoramas and create virtual 3D tours of the most interesting places on our planet.
Unlike a traditional photo, AirPano's spherical panoramas gives viewers the freedom to explore at will, with the ability to turn around 360°and take closer looks at each detail. This incredible technology creates the illusion of actually being on-site at these breathtaking locations, allowing for completely immersive experiences of seeing the wonders of the world.
With over 2,000 aerial panoramas available on their website, AirPano is an extraordinary resource for anyone feeling a bit of wanderlust. To help them add to their existing gallery, be sure to check out this list of landmarks they'd like to obtain permission to photograph in the future. In the meantime, here are shots from 12 of our favorite global cities available on AirPano, curated by us for your viewing pleasure. Bon voyage!
